Yu Huang graduated in 2008 from the Department of Environmental Engineering, College of Marine, at Northwestern Polytechnical University with a first class honours degree in Acoustics (MSc). Yu obtained a PhD in 2013 in the Human Factors Research Unit in the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at University of Southampton. Following this, Yu was appointed as a post doctorate in the Institute of Vibration Shock and Sound at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Yu's research is concerned with improving knowledge on human responses to noise and vibration.
